Our international team brings the diverse and exciting tasks in the photo sector to life with a great deal of commitment and professionalism. From software to the finished product – at Saal Digital, everything is developed and produced in-house.
Your tasks
- You are responsible for color management throughout the entire production process (offset, digital and/or large-format printing, photo exposure, sublimation).
- You develop, maintain, and optimize color profiles, workflows, and standards.
- You analyze color deviations and production issues and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- You work closely with production, product development, software development, and quality assurance.
- You develop new products and expand our portfolio – from initial idea to series production.
- You carry out material and machine approvals.
- You support testing, sample productions, and product launches.
- You assist in the selection and implementation of new technologies, machines, software, and materials.
- You support our customer service as a knowledgeable point of contact for complaints.
Your profile
- Completed training or studies in the field of printing technology, media technology, packaging technology, media design or similar
- Several years of experience in color management and/or product development in a print shop or industrial printing environment
- Very good understanding of color theory, printing processes and material properties
- Experience with color management tools and workflows
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working across teams
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
